I have purchased a variety of different cases for myself and my husband who both have the 4s. Otter box is definitely the most durable brand. My husband has dropped his phone in this case out of his pickup truck onto concert and not a scratch on the phone itself! I have multiple times dropped my phone on the treadmill while running and still not any problems with the phone or case! Before getting thees cases we both have cracked our phones and had to replace. Definitely durable and worthwhile!

The item arrived very quickly. It was priced very reasonable and is exactly as described by seller as an original Otter Box Defender. However the only thing that is not to my liking is the color of the silicone case. It is an off white color and looks dirty. Even though the white has a slight blue/gray tint I love it!! I changed the silicone to the black I already purchased. I would buy from this seller again. Believe this is a manafacturer not a seller issue!!

I received my otterbox in less than 10 days. It was exactly what i ordered. I have dropped it three times and its done its job. No harm has come to my phone and it feels bulky at first, but you get used to it quickly.

Just a real quick review: I'v owend the iPhone 4 for 2 years now and have tried about 6 different cases, all bought here on Amazon. The OutterBox is the best for people who want 100% protection from drops and scratches. The only negative is it makes your phone heavy and bulky, that is the draw back. But you can't have it both ways. The best part about it, is comes with a built in screen protector. I never could get the sticky screen stickers to place properly without bubbles. So if you are like me, dropt things often, son plays with my phone, use the phone to listen to music while at the gym or cutting the lawn, this is the way to go. Last thought, I'm on my second case. The first case lasted about 2 years - the rubber starts strething and the case loses its tightness. No bigge, $20 every 2 years to protect a $800 phone is worth it!

Not quite as sealed up as I expected from all the hype. The inner hard plastic case was difficult to figure out how to open based on the very low detail of the graphic instructions. There are 3 clips that hold the front and back together and it wasn't obvious where to pry to unlatch these clips (fyi, lift the edges toward the rear of the case, the clip is part of the front half). The rubberized cover slips on and off the inner case fairly easily but the "flap" covers for the ear bud and data ports require a little fiddling to get them closed. This case certainly gives more protection than most but my perception (I wasn't willing to sacrifice my iphone for actual tests) is that it will only offer marginal protection against dust, moisture and drops.(read more customer review)
